Notes for 2019 + a quick review of 2018

January 2, 2019

This year on New Years Eve we stayed at home, played games, watched movies, shared a cider or two, so we didn’t do anything special, but this was the first 31st of December, when I felt truly GRATEFUL for the past year. I am grateful for a lot of things in my life and I’m so grateful for 2018, not just because it was an amazing year, but also, because it taught me so much!

In the beginning of 2018 the biggest adventure of our life started: we sat on a plane with two luggages and moved to the United Kingdom. We left almost everything behind and we could just hope that it was the right decision. I think that this was the main experience of the year, which led to another lessons. This is what I’ve learned:

If you have a dream, and you want to do something by heart, just STICK TO IT and DO IT.

I tend to over think every decision in my life. I carefully list the possibilities. And I’m not the kind of person who is willing to take risks. So what I think this year really taught me is to step out my comfort zone and risk a bit.

One more thing which I started to do well this year: make a stand for myself. This was something which has always been hard for me, to stand up and say no, this thing doesn’t serve me and I don’t want to do it.

All in all, this was one of the best years of my life, and I’m ready for 2019!

Notes for 2019

I have some notes for myself, things that I’d like to focus on in 2019. These are just fragments I usually  write on pieces of paper and stick on the wall in front of my desk, just to always keep in mind.

  •  your only limit is you

  • forest walks are the best. Beach walks are even better.

  •  I create my future

  • more books, less social media

  • dream yoga poses doesn’t have to be dreams

  • whole foods make me feel the best

  • nothing tastes as good as healthy feels

Thanks for reading this small note about my year, and I hope you will find a lot of interesting content on my blog in 2019!

Have a lovely 2019 and don't forget
